Steve is responsible for the operations & logistics management of Newline Anglia with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. Before co-launching Smith & Coburn in 2008, he spent 12 years working his way up from warehouseman, onto Warehouse Manager and then Sales and Operations Manager for a FTSE 100 company, where he received the Sales & Operations Manager of the Year award. In 2014 he went on to successfully coordinate the merger of Smith & Coburn with the Newline Group. Steve is now responsible for a team of 20, consisting of the purchasing team, Warehouse team, and Drivers, many of which have worked for Newline since the start.
As the joint co-founder of Smith & Coburn in 2008, and previously an experienced Sales Account Director for the 12 years prior, Glen has an extensive background in sales within the cleaning & hygiene industry, and with this knowledge he has helped to design Newline’s complete product range, keeping our focus on innovation & sustainability in line with our core values. Glen’s experience and understanding in managing excellent customer relationships has enabled Newline to build & develop a knowledgeable and friendly sales & marketing team as well as a team of reps dedicated to supporting our customers all across the UK.
