Our Brown De-icing Rock Salt Large Bags (approximately 25kg) can be used to prevent Ice on Paths, Driveways, Car Parks, Roads, and is even suitable for Grit Spreaders. ,Our Salt (aka Grit Salt or Rock Salt, Halite ) is mined from huge ancient seams of rock salt, these seams have been formed from old ancient sea beds that have dried up and become locked into rocky seams. Most of the rock salt used in the UK is mined in the UK in the huge deposits deep under Cheshire

Brown De-icing rock salt contains large granules and is the most commonly used in the UK. The product’s natural brown colour is useful when spreading because it is visible on snow. Brown salt can be spread manually or by using a mechanical spreader on paths, roads, car parks and playgrounds etc.

Emergency Deliveries

Should you require an emergency delivery within 48 hours which falls outside of your normal delivery day, this will incur a delivery charge of £8.95.

Free Deliveries

A free-of-charge delivery service is offered, to account holders, on orders over £50.

This weekly delivery is supported by our office staff which will call or email you 48 hours before dispatch. This helps you organise your stores, manage budgets and trial new products, ensuring that you always have the right product for the job at hand.

For your peace of mind, our drivers are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked and have received both COVID-19 vaccination injections.

The minimum order value is £50. Should you require an emergency delivery within 48 hours which falls outside of your normal delivery day, this will incur a delivery charge of £8.95. Third-party courier services are used for any ad-hoc deliveries.
